Et si au lieu de d’organiser un festival sur un seul lieu, on faisait en sorte de mobiliser toute une ville ? 

C’est le challenge que TrueItalianFood a choisi de relever à Berlin et Hambourg!

J’ai d’abord découvert True Italian Food lors d’un festival de cuisine italienne cet été à Berlin. Amoureuse de pizzas / pâtes / mozzarella et glaces, je m’y suis rendue pour en savoir un peu plus. Sur le festival on retrouvait un partenaire principal « Campari » (et donc des centaines de Spritz) mais aussi une sélection des meilleurs restaurants italiens de la ville. J’ai eu l’occasion de tester plusieurs plats et spécialités (dont la pizza frite que je n’avais jamais vu avant). 

Il se trouve que quelques temps après, j’ai été contactée par la responsable communication du groupe qui m’a invitée à découvrir le concept de leur prochain festival : 72 heures de gourmandises dans deux ville, Berlin et Hambourg. 

Comment ça marche ? 

Comme vous pouvez le voir, les restaurants participants sont éparpillés dans les différents quartiers de la ville pour que le maximum de personnes puissent prendre part à l’événement. 

Pour y participer c’est simple, il faut se rendre dans le restaurant participant au festival et commander la spécialité + un Spritz (ou autre). Budget ? 7 euros. 

Les organisateurs veulent pousser les habitants de la ville à organiser un parcours dans la ville pour aller tester le maximum de spécialités et découvrir plusieurs restaurants. 

Pourquoi c’est bien ? 

En ce qui me concerne, je trouve que le concept d’emmener les festivaliers directement dans les restaurants est une super bonne idée parce que tester des spécialités sur un stand ne donne pas de réel aperçu de l’ambiance qu’on peut trouver si on se rend dans l’établissement. Là au contraire, on se déplace, on fait l’effort d’aller visiter un lieu, papoter avec le service, avoir un aperçu de la cuisine. Je sais que c’est un concept qui me plait parce qu’il me permettra de découvrir de nouvelles adresses que je n’aurais pas forcément testé autrement.

Ca se passe cette semaine, du 18 au 21 September 2019 dans les ville de Berlin et Hambourg.
